DVDs on SUSE 10

James Ogley has a post on his blog about watching DVDs on SUSE 10. I just finished loading it on one of my workstations and was dissapointed that this functionality was missing. One more reason to be thankful for the VideoLAN project (even if they doe have the stupidest icon ever). Tweet

Placeopedia.com – Connecting Wikipedia articles with their locations

Placeopedia.com cleverly lets you link Wikipedia articles to Google Maps data. It’s interesting to see the combination of two great Internet resources together. Tweet

A Color Portrait of the English Language

It’s a map of 33,000 English nouns. Each noun is assigned a tiny rectangle who’s color is based on an internet image search for that noun.
